Today I got the oil changed in our car at a service station. This was written while waiting in the library across the street (they had internet terminals).
The prompt for this story was a question on Yahoo Answers, "I found a penny in my hamburger at McDonald's. What should I do?"
Perhaps this belongs in the Warmup Exercises section, as it was a quick write.

My friend at school told me he was writing a book called this but didn't know what it was going to be about, so I said "why don't we both write a version of it and then compare them to see what we each did differently," so this is it! This story is about a man called max who dies in an accident and finds himself on a giant spaceship. Where a select few go to look eternally for the gem of thunder, and nobody has obtained it yet.
