My Next Door Neighbour

Rachel and Connor have been neighbours for as long as they can remember. Their families are really close since they were young. Rachel and Connor go to completely different schools, due to family preferences. Rachel goes to Swansea Girls School, whereas Connor goes to the local high school - Swansea Comprehensive School. Even though the families are close, they seem to hate the idea of Rachel and Connor being any sort of friends. They have high expectations of the two teenagers. Rachel is a straight-A student and Connor used to be the same, until he settled in with his new group of friends, but went slightly off the racks and gets C grades when he really tries. Rachel's parents have worked hard to be able to afford to get Rachel into Swansea Girls School, as it's the top private school in the country. They wouldn't settle for a state school. They only wanted the best. Rachel is an only child with a lawyer and a nurse for parents, which means they work long hours and are sometimes away. They still manage to push Rachel for top grades because "top grades are needed for the top Universities." Connor's parents are a little bit more laid back, only slightly. His mother works part-time at the local coffee shop in town and his father works full-time at an office. They can't afford to send Connor to a top school, but do try to give him everything he needs to get by in life. They have saved for years, since their teen years for Connor. The money they've saved will go towards Connor's life from the moment he wants to move out, or the moment he goes to University. Only time will tell how Rachel and Connor meet and how they will come across to each other. What do you think will happen between the two? Will there be frustration, hate? Maybe even a little romance?
