It seems like that Mission Chaos had been a lifetime ago for John Watson. For the rest of 221B Baker, it's been a month and everyone else has been swept away in the winds of change. 

Sherlock, emotionally vulnerable for the first time in his life, has begun his relationship with Kara afresh and they are lost in their own web of memories.

John Watson and Sam Bishop, on the other hand, remain unconvinced that Sara just 'left' Baker Street and must prove that they are right.
