The night Courtney Rose Foster died everyone was going about their business. Her mother cooking dinner waiting for the garlic and potatoes she was supposed to bring back. Alec just got off the phone with her still laughing and smiling from her odd sense of humor. Evelyn slowly walked out of the town library clutching a novel she was sure she'd fall in love with. That's when the car crashed, the guard rail didn't stop it and she went head first into the water. The groceries were still in the back, unscathed. This is how everyone's  life changed.
