Nightfrost of the NightWings and IceWings, who goes by the name Shadow, lives in The Rainforest of Pyrria, ruled by Queen Glory of the RainWings. When he and his friend Stargazer explore a cave deep in the midst of the jungle, they find what appears to be a prophecy written on the walls. They try to ignore it, but it doesn't cease to keep returning to haunt them. They figure out that there is no hope of overlooking it, and they themselves must fulfill it. Skyfall is a hidden kingdom, hidden in the cloudiest sky near Pyrrhia. Siren is an orphaned, curious Rainwing. She has one friend, Shardseeker. She learned about there being a hidden kingdom somewhere near Pyrrhia by a legend that she learned about where she was taught. She also learned about the season goddesses that lived there. She wishes to go there someday, so she and Shardseeker hear the call of Skyfall and go on a journey to see it. She later finds out that the Pyhhrian tribes have a conflict. She soon finds out who started it, so she and the dragon who started it have beef together. Will Siren and Shardseeker find a way to get rid of the dragon who started the conflict? Or is it too late to stop it on their own?

The twist is that the Skywing is James, or Phoenix in this story. Basically James gets pulled into a portal that takes him to the WoF universe, and in order to go back to his home he has to do one thing: help the rest of the dragonets stop the war. I'll be keeping Glory in bc I don't wanna leave out our sassy Rainwing queen, and also bc plot. Of course, there will be plenty of things that will change, which you will see as the story progresses! Keep in mind that characters may act OOC (Out Of Character) to fit my writing style, so I don't want to see any of you yell at me about it. If you have a problem with this then either be nice about it or leave the book. Small heads up: This will contain spoilers for the first 5 Wings of Fire books from The Dragonet Prophecy to The Brightest Night. If you have not read those books yet I suggest you read them, but otherwise you are free to read this. Food is plentiful, no one ever fights, and even in the midst of war, the kingdom is quiet. Chameleon would never expect anything bad to happen in the forest. A normal dragonet at first, Chameleon discovers that the RainWings are anything but nice. After a nasty encounter, he gains a snout deformity that affects his scales. He suddenly discovers that he has no respect, no friends, and no hope. Eventually, Chameleon is exiled for one simple reason: He is different from everyone else. And then the RainWings do something that Chameleon would never forgive them for. Brimming with fury, Chameleon sets out to prove everyone that indeed he is different- but better than them all. But nothing could prepare Chameleon for what he discovers out in the wilds of Pyrrhia- something so influential that not even Chameleon himself could grasp the true power of it. Now he discovers he has a chance of rewriting his identity, his history, and his future. This has left many of Pyrrhia's inhabitants attempting to return to their daily lives, with some searching for new meaning in them. Winter is one such soul who tries to return to the normalcy of his scavenger research. At that same time, Qibli is grappling with the events of the Darkstalker conflict and his new relationship with Moon. One thing leads to another, and Winter is compelled to assist Qibli in a new prophecy being unraveled before their very eyes. It will be a test of character, of friendship, and of love.

Aster, a tribrid- A NightWing - SeaWing hybrid father, a minor princess of the MudWings for a mother- is SO BORED with all the formalities of royalty... so much that she chooses to runaway. Cursed with two full moons, she has a small ability to see the future- one which she knows will improve if she meets actual NightWings. With that in mind, she travels to the rainforest... only to find something world-changing- an old animus-touched bracelet, which, when broken. would restore animus magic... and make whoever broke it an animus. Whoever made it, Aster breaks the bracelet, and with it starts something neither continent had ever been able to achieve- dragonets of different tribes forming a family of sorts. Set 20 years after the Flames of Hope, this story has 7 protaganists.
