Dan Howell has lived half of his life in fear, closed in and not aloud to share his thoughts. Daniel Howell was gay. He knew he was probably the only person like this in the school. Talking to people was a trouble to Dan. He was scared to accidentally expose himself for one of the most illegal things in the country. This town specifically, was known for having the harshest people. Sometimes it felt like Dan was the only person to exist with these feelings. He wished he could run away but he's too scared to. His self esteem isn't awful, but it's getting worse. He's alone.

That's until he meets Phil Lester. That's when everything changed. Even his future plans.
