Seventy years ago, five people vanished inside what is now known as the Bennington Triangle. Only one person was ever found, but the cause of death was never determined. What happened to those five remains a mystery to this day. When Emberly and her friends head out to Vermont for a hiking trip, they aren't expecting anything out of the ordinary. But when a joke ritual goes wrong, Em's accidentally whisked away to another world. As she try to find her way home from the strange world, she begin uncovering secrets about what really happened seventy years ago, and who was behind it. Because the people who were responsible for the vanishings in the Bennington Triangle will stop at nothing to get Em if they learn she's in their world...
