The Autobots were somehow transformed into humans and are now living amongst the normal humans in town. 

Ratchet and Wheeljack live in a large house along with the rest of the Autobots. They share a room just like they did before, but it was nice with lots of space to decorate. 

Though being human was strange, it didn't stop them from showing affection towards each other.
