Paisley is a 3-year-old little girl, who wasn't really planned to happen. She was what her father would call a mistake or a burden. But luckily her mother had a different view of it and saw her as a blessing. Her mother Jane Bennett, wish for it to have happened differently. Another time. Another man. But that wasn't the case, and she hated that her daughter had to grow up like this. Her husband Thomas Bennett, that she met in college, was all she ever wanted. That's of course until life happened. Somewhere along the way, he found comfort in his bottles. Since then nothing has ever been the same. He's rarely ever around, and when he is? It's either to cuss, eat or sleep. Jane has thought of leaving him, multiples of times, to just take Paisley and get gone but his threats has assured her that she's helpless. Thomas can be gone for days and just immediately call out of nowhere and say he'll be back home tonight. And that's exactly what happens on the night of Jane Bennett's death. Who's going to save Paisley, from the man she calls father?
