A/N: Hello again! I'm back with another awesome prompt given to me by a lovely anonymous Tumblr user for the Uncharted series. The request was for a Nathan Drake X Reader story where Drake goes off on an adventure alone and he happens to find the reader, a native to the island he's on, half dead and in need of help. It was also requested that the reader and Drake don't speak the other's language so they can't understand each other but somehow Drake gets the reader to join him on his adventure. Forgive me because while I do speak other languages I wanted everyone to be able to understand the reader's thoughts so when the reader speaks or thinks it will be in English but to Drake it will all be gibberish. (In case anyone one was wondering the language the reader is "speaking" is Quechua, it's a language of Incan origin that is still spoken in this particular region of Peru, where the story takes place.) Also this story won't be following the events of any of the games so I took some creative liberties in making up an adventure for Drake. So Drake has found evidence of the existence of Paititi, a lost city of Incan Legend, the city was thought to be a land rich in silver, gold, and jewels. Supposedly from what I've researched some accounts say that Paititi is located in the rainforests of southeastern Peru and I thought that having Drake's plane crash here would be a cool setting for this story. This story is a rewrite of a fanfic I wrote in 1998, popular in the TMNT fandom. I have been getting emails from strangers asking me for "Cold Fire" or to write a new story in the same world, a world in which Michelangelo gains telekinetic and telepathic powers via alien technology but at a nearly fatal price. Angst, Tragedy, and Hurt/Comfort were my Tropes to play with. Mikey got hurt a lot. But being psionic helps delay death, you know? Now I get to play with the 2012 reboot from Nick. Despite my skepticism, it really grew on me. Mikey has freckles! And huge bright blue eyes! And he's the comedic prankster with secret brilliant intelligence, the loud silly annoying weird hedonist with ADHD and natural ninja skills who could be the most powerful martial artist if he'd concentrate his potential. It irritated me at first when April O'Neil was brought in as a hybrid teen human with Kraang DNA and psychic powers. But once it was established that in Dimension X, Michelangelo was very powerful, I realized that potentially, Mikey could also have Kraang DNA, which is why he is able to navigate Dimension X as if it were his natural state. "Hey, in crazy backwards land, crazy backwards dude is king." And it does make me wonder if the writers will actually touch upon that. If Mikey really has Utrom DNA, and if it is activated, would he be potentially psychic? I'm not waiting to find out. This story takes place in the middle of Season 4. But I imagine they could take a break for a few months to deal with... um... this. It's technically an AU since I ignore and expand the canon six months. Warnings for gore, violence, language, descriptions of medical procedures. Hallucinations and creepy nightmares abound. I get very rough with Mikey and his brain.)

Alex can't let that box get into the hands of such cold hearted people.
