"God created a mean sense of poetry when he created fire."
Enter Sally. She lives a very happy life with her husband Alan and their two daughters. Mildred and Henrietta. Sally is the School Counsellor to the Primary School that her daughters go to. Nothing could make her happier and nothing could take her happiness away... Or so she thought.
When her life takes a rather dire turn, Sally finds herself on the streets. Lifeless and on the brink of just giving up entirely... Until she meets Martin. Another homeless person. Martin shows Sally a new way of life as a person of the free world. Initially hesitant of feeling attached to people once again, Sally has a choice to make...

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Hi there. This is just the first chapter of the book as I wanted to test it on an audience to see what general feedback is. How does it read and do you feel compelled to continue reading from the first chapter.

Please be as brutally honest as you can as this story is quite big and I need to know if I'm kicking off with the right foot.
