Clare (otherwise known as Clary) is moving to New Jersey for her fathers work. She starts off her school year not knowing anybody, she meets her new best friends Nicole, Lulo, Jake, Will, and Peter. she also meets the bad boy Lucas who just so happens to live next door. He is nice to Clary no matter what. Lucas thinks he's in love but in reality he isn't. When Clary finds out big news about her mother, Clary is devastated.
