Nova Song, an angsty, depressed senior in high school. All she ever wanted was emotional stability, and to be understood. Everything she had to do was given to her in simple orders, and everything she wanted to do has always been beyond the four walls of her room. Romance? Never thought about it. Freedom? A bird in the distant horizon.
Soon finds out she should have
appreciated the peace she once had in her life, because everything she considered normal
is suddenly wiped from her reality on a simple Monday afternoon. The only hope she finds is in another person, a strange boy who claims he's a classmate. They decide there must be others exempted from this mysterious purge.
