Nach dem verheerenden Anschlag auf die Ruhmeshalle setzen Alex und Mark sich ins Neutrale Handelsgebiet ab. Lisa und Ava, die ins Visier der Gestapo geraten, fliehen ein Weile später gemeinsam ebenfalls dorthin, wenngleich nicht ganz freiwillig.
Sie müssen zunächst ihre angeknackste Freundschaft kitten, bevor sie mit vereinten Kräften versuchen, Alex und Mark ausfindig zu machen. Unsichere Zeiten kommen auf die Vier zu und auch daheim im Großgermanischen Reich ist die Lage für ihre zurückgebliebenen Freunde und Familien alles andere als entspannt.
Letzten Endes sehen sie sich gezwungen, eine riskante Entscheidung zu treffen, um ihre Liebsten zu retten.
