What's that in the sky - is it a bird - is it a plane? No it's Super... zero? After a misfortunate mix up of vaccine vials, Bernadette Brooks falls ill and faints. Only to wake up with strange new powers. Now she's the most wanted person on the planet. From the FBI to petty criminals, all are frantically searching for her. It's hard to lay low when even a sneeze can destroy the things around her.
Her main priorities are like any other 17 year old's. She believes that having super powers DOESN'T mean she has to use them and refuses to accept the burden of becoming a superhero.
But as crime begins to increase, she's faced with one question: will she continue to stand back and watch or do something?

I should be dead. At least, that's what the government officials told me in the super-secret lab where I woke up strapped to a mattress in a windowless room...Sound problematic to anyone else? Between managing a secret lair and making sure your mom doesn't stop loving you because you keep telling everyone she's dead, it's a really hard business to be good at? Add to that, the fact that somehow you got arrested because your cat sitter didn't take the day off and then you go around expressing your unconditional love for pancakes in a Super holding cell because technically they can't put you in a proper prison and you don't really have a choice because lawyers are expensive? And then, you realise your best friend is plotting go take over your spot as the greatest villain there ever was? Okay, maybe not the greatest, but you do come pretty close to it! To top it off, there's that one Superhero who's just so completely gorgeous, you couldn't imagine any harm coming to them? Because they're just that precious?
