She killed the man who murdered her parents, but that just isn't good enough. No one with that much power can be trusted to use it wisely.
Carter trained for years to hone her mind and body into a perfect weapon. A weapon that could kill people capable of smashing cars and catching lighting. The man who killed her parents was a Super, and more of them were appearing every day. They wielded god-like powers, but who could stop them when it goes to their heads?
The People's Hand was the perfect group for Carter to join. Assassins dedicated to stopping Supers before more lives were lost. Now Carter has gotten a mission completely foreign to her skillset.
How is she supposed to masquerade as a Super? How is she supposed to mingle with the same people she's devoted her life to destroying?
What if she's been wrong?

It's no secret that some people use their unique gifts to do good, and some use them to do evil. Your classic heroes and villains, if you will. But what about the middle people? The people born with powers, not the kinds that let you fly, or crush cars with your mind, or turn your enemies into puddles of goo before you, the ones that are not quite considered "super". What are they supposed to do? Their powers aren't strong enough to categorize them as hero or villain. Imagine Knife Man or Spoon Girl with the power to control cutlery, do you honestly think they would hold up in a fight against anyone else? Being a superhero without powers is hard enough, being a superhero with a useless super power is damn impossible. Andrew, Carter, and Heather knew that their unique abilities would be worthless if they made themselves full time heroes or villains. Instead, they use their "uselessness" to their advantage. The trio makes their living in their own respected fields, but they come together as the best band of thieves in the world. Nobody would ever suspect three seemingly innocent young adults of 45 high profile theft cases. There is nothing extraordinary about them after all, no crazy hair colors, no fire blasting out of their mouths. It's the perfect cover. When the group steals a valuable, but at the same time worthless, artifact from a museum in Tokyo, they find themselves caught in the crossfire between the National Superhero League and a new super villain on the rise. And since the heroes can't seem to be doing their one job right, the group steps out of the shadows and takes matters into their own hands.

Azira's whole world consisted of being a hero. The daughter of the Dynamic Duo, she was destined to fulfill her role as the dutiful daughter in the Heroes Academy. A world where those with superhuman powers are taught to wield their powers for good and change the world. That is until a villain named Scar enters her life and changes her whole perspective on what it truly means to be the good guy. Scar loves her. And knows she loves him-she just doesn't know that yet herself. But she's about to find out. ~Excerpt~ "Why me?" I asked exasperatedly. "You do all of this for me, and why? For what reason?" "That's where you're still wrong, honey," he said darkly. "I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing this for me. I wanted you, so now you're mine-that's all there is to it. And by being mine, if someone hurts you, they're hurting me. And I am not one to take that disrespect lightly. Do you understand me?" "No." "You will." He knelt next to me, his face hovering over mine, his arms on either side of the machine, caging me beneath his upper body. "I will ruin you-I'll fit you to my mold; I'll take that goody-two-shoes girl you are, and turn her into a force to be reckoned with. One that's mine." I quivered. "All mine." "I..." His proximity had me beyond nervous. My throat constricted as I tried to regain my composure. "Will never be yours." He laughed, his hand caressing my cheek. "You and I both know you already are." *Enemies to lovers (mildly) dark romance* PUBLISHING ALSO ON ROYAL ROAD AS LEELEEACE1

WARNING: CONTAINING AMOUNTS OF SASS PREVIOUSLY UNKNOWN TO MANKIND In the city of NYC--- Ok. Hold up. First of all, New York City. What, are ya gonna assume everyone here knows what NYC is? Anyway, this is about two people. I can almost hear you rolling your eyes. Another cliché teen fiction with a bad boy and a good girl? Nope. This is about superheroes. I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. And if you can name all the references in this book, you truly are a gift to mankind. Fangirl out.

Rheon is a hacker. When she receives a letter from the mayor, she is almost certain that it calls for a fine, or, at worst, an arrest, only to find out that she is required to aid four young superheroes in their quest to defeat one of the worst villains ever encountered by Arcadia's people. She hates this arrangement. She decides to sabotage the whole mission. What does she owe the very force that has made her stay in crippling poverty for twenty years? Rheon starts by assassinating her teammates, thinking that it is what will finally free her and others like her from the ruling class. But how free is she, really, to make her own choices within this framework of politics and schemes? Warnings: A lot of death, suicide, dark stuff. I am so sorry to inflict this upon the world.
