"Lilly." Cyrus' voice echoed throughout the empty room. "Look at me." Lilly shook her head. "Get out of the way, Cyrus." "No. I want to help you. Why is that so hard to believe?" Lilly's fists balled and she finally looked up at him. "Because thats your thing, right? Find a broken girl, try to heal her and be nice to her to because you pity her?" "What are you talking about?" Lilly stared at him in silence before her lips twisted into a sour smile. "Forget it, Im leaving." "You're not leaving." Lilly scoffed. "I can leave whenever I want. You don't tell me what I can and cannot do. You're not my Alpha." He growled, stalking towards her. She wanted to step back but she wouldn't let herself. She wouldn't give him the satisfaction. Instead, she stayed in place. "Lilly..." His voice was low and venomous and his eyes were glaring right into hers. He was fighting his wolf but you could tell he was about to lose control. "You're not leaving." Lilly's anger rose and she felt her eyes began to glow. He was so close to her and she noticed how his eyes were beginning to travel down to her lips. She gave him a sweet smile and with all her strength she brought her knee up to his groin, causing him to groan. And then she ran. - COVER MADE BY THE AMAZING WITCHORIA

I felt the bed dip as he sat down on the other side but I focused solely on my task until I was done. "This is a pillow barrier. Meaning, you don't breach this side of the pillows." I instructed, my voice firm. "What if I don't want anything between us?" Phoenix said in a husky voice, and I risked a glance. Bad choice. His eyes were dark and his gaze was on my lips, to my chest, then back to my lips. "Eyes up here, buddy." I snapped the third time his eyes went down to my chest. All he did was turn off the lights. When it was dark, he whispered," Can't I admire what is mine?" I had no answer, and turned on my side. He sighed. Despite taking two naps today, I was out cold the minute my head hit my pillow. I could only hope that in the morning, the pillow barrier was still there. ***** Adira has a secret, one she would do anything to protect.
