❝All men must choose between Two Paths. Good is the path of Honor, Heroism, and Nobility. Evil... well, it's just cooler.❞

~ Megamind

If it's one thing Disney USED TO like to do, it ALWAYS had the heroes win. Here's how it goes down. You have a pretty girl who, who always has an enemy, girl gets caught in the enemy trap, strong person defeats the monster and saves the girl. Happily ever after. The end. Roll credits.

But here's the thing, you never see what happened to the villains, you never hear their side of the story, their backstory that caused them to do what they did. Maybe they were banished from the land, that's why they put Sleeping Beauty under a curse that made them sleep for a hundred years.

Or maybe their family pressured them into think beauty is everything and they must be the most beautiful in the land to finally get the approval that they did something good, maybe that's why they poisoned Snow White to take her beauty. What if they just wanted to get revenge for Peter Pan taking their most valuable treasure, that meant more to them in the entire world, maybe that's why they had a growing vendetta over Peter Pan.

There are many other reasons why villains did what they did, but, did these heroes ever consider that these villains had a family. Like how maybe Gaston might have had a kid who had to grow up with only one parent cause the Beast killed Gaston. Or maybe how Dr. Facilier might have had a daughter, but since he was locked in the shadow realm he never got to have that valuable father-daughter relationship with her.

What if Disney is hiding something from us. The story of these kids who had to grow up without a parent or with the burden of being teased because of their lineage. Well, Disney, you may be good at making giant Marvel timelines and making us cry at the end of EVERY Disney Pixar movie. But I'm good at revealing your secrets.

Why be good when you can be bad instead?

You fall under his spell, completely under his control, and there is nothing anyone could do to save you from the darkness that awaits. *~*~* ♡ A slowburn/sociopathic/dark Tom Marvolo Riddle x F!reader book that centers around both reader's perspective and Tom's fall into madness/rise in influence and power. The 'effects' of Tom's influence become apperent later in the book, so the emotional conflicts/thoughts start later too. ♡ Cross posted on ao3. ♡ I don't claim the Harry Potter characters in any way, the only thing I claim is the plot, some OC's and this, like my other books, are not made to make money off of them. ♡ I'm firmly against using AI for bookwriting as it takes away from the whole creativity standpoint. So you don't have to worry about that in any of my books. ♡ This book is very fucking long lol so just be aware. *~*~* Highest ranked: #1 in manipulation #1 in sociopath
