Everyone desires that one thing, you can't even avoid it. It comes like a pest, but it keeps you at least sane. Or maybe the other way around. What? It's a life lesson people! If you want to be alone forever, fine! Be that way! But I promise you, you will forever regret it. And there will always be that something missing inside of you. So, I'm just here to tell you a story, a love story. Dude, I promise you, it won't be cliche. However, that's one of the things you can't escape too, Cliches. But it's still needed with some part in this love story. Yeah, it will be gruesome, horrible, gross, gore, etc.. But that's how this life begun. Don't want to read it, then get lost, pshh...

Well, he's instantly proven wrong when he gets chased down by police and finds himself in the middle of the woods with somebody other that a cop. Somebody who doesn't appear to be human at all. The... thing introduces himself as Ben, a supposed ghost who's "on the run" from something too, although Jeff isn't sure what. But it's definitely not law enforcement. After trying to avoid Ben and being unsuccessful, he finally caves and lets him stick around for a while, realizing that they might have a lot more in common than he originally thought. Together, they evade capture and learn much more about each other than they thought they would. But just how attached is Jeff going to get to this guy? And why does he remind him of someone he was close to? I wasn't sure what love was. Everyone spoke of it like a legend. Something sacred that you'd capture if you were lucky. The man I had let take my heart wanted to carve it out of my chest as proof. I tried to forget feeling that way about him. I tried to figure out why I could ever love someone like him. He terrified me but at moments it was like a roller coaster. Up and down I would try to hold on for dear life. I liked how he made me feel alive, knowing he was always there made me feel less alone. He had done something to me I wish he hadn't. When he hurt me every time seemed to get worse and worse but at some point, I had gotten addicted to it. I wanted him to drown me in his hate and make me beg. I knew it was wrong, toxic and unhealthy. The way I felt was bad the only question was does he feel it too? Does he know this is wrong and how bad I want him? I looked up to him, he brushed the hair out of my face gently, eyes locked to mine. I didn't care if he felt the same, it was too late for me. I was intoxicated.
