Eren Yaeger was the prince of the mer-people. He enjoyed helping the mer-people out when they asked, he also enjoyed going for small swims around the kingdom. Mikasa and Armin would always try to go with him on these swims, so he would have protection, but he always declined. One day, when he decided to go on one of his swims, declining his friends offer again, he starts to get a slightly bad feeling. On the way to of his favorite places outside of the kingdom, he didn't realise that there was a pirate ship above him, slowly following behind him to keep hidden. Once Eren had stopped at his spot, he had closed his eyes, feeling the ocean around him, meditating. He didn't hear the net hitting the water, and he didn't even know that the net was even in the water, until he felt the net rap around his built body. Thrashing, Eren tried to break the net, until he felt the cool air hit his body. He kept thrashing around, the net was ripping slightly. He was so close to getting free, until his body was brought into the deck of the ship. (Continued in the story, talked out in more detail)
Levi Ackerman was a pirate, he was the captain, to be exact. Hanji, his crazy 'friend' had begged him for the past month to take them on his ship with his crew to capture a mermaid. After being annoyed to death for the millionth time, he had finally agreed to their deal. That would be the reason he had the bottom of his boat painted like one would see the sky from looking up so the mermaid couldn't tell it was his ship. When we had spotted the tail of a mermaid swimming, we decided to have Hanji down below deck so they couldn't ruin the plan. When the Mermaid had stopped, I had one of my crew shoot the net into the water. The mermaid didn't flinch when it hit the water, surprisingly, but when it rapped around it's body, it went ballistic. When it hit the surface of the water, it slowed down only slightly. Until it hit my ship, then it stopped completely, a look of pure terror on its face.
