Moments Before

Ashton Moore has been secretly admiring him from afar for a long time. The school bad boy with a trademark leather jacket and a closed off disposition. Still, she'd never considered dating him for three reasons.
1) It's graduating year and she definitely doesn't have time for a boyfriend. Good grades, college applications, keeping her family together and dealing with her three best friends is more than enough.
2) Her parents have enough to deal with her two brothers without worrying about her rebellious relationship. She'd never dream of piling more on them.
3) Every time she touches someone, she sees moments before their death. Not exactly relationship material.

Noah Anderson has his own problems and doesn't need some stuck up girl with a million problems to end up on his doorstep. If he can get a football scholarship and get the hell out of dodge within this next year than he'll be fine. Until a fight on the first day back to school pushes Ashton into his space. He tried to lose her but she won't stop showing up, and he can't fight the relief when she comes bouncing back after each time he pushes her away.

After the two are thrown together Ashton makes a mistake she hasn't made in years. She holds his hand. She's tried to stop deaths before and has always failed. But one this gruesome and so soon she'll do whatever it takes to stop it.
