III. in return the MISTRESS sprung into existence with a wrath that none could eradicate. she had to burn and be destroyed in the worst ways to become what she truly was...

The Words I couldn't Say

I want to tell you a tale, of a handsome prince meeting a beautiful young maiden. The moment their eyes met; they knew that they were in love. It was a love that would transcend all earthly bounds. A rare love that not even the courtliest poet could give justice too. It was pure beauty. Their meeting could not have come at a more unfortunate moment. For no sooner did their eyes meet, that the bishop declared the prince married to his new bride. I witnessed the stolen moment that would seal the fate of an entire kingdom. The Story Behind the Slipper
We all know the classic story of a girl who lost her glass slipper running away from her dreams, and racing back to her sad reality of being a peasant maid for her own step-mother and step-sisters, the only family she has left. Yes, this is a story based on none other than the character of Cinderella. However...this rendition of telling the tale is quite different. This quick-read is all written in the form of haikus; a form of poetry that is written in a 5/7/5 syllable count. In this story, you learn about the lives these characters really lived behind the scenes of the happily ever after that we all know to be. You'll discover rich amounts of character development from minor characters and learn major mic-drops about the major characters. I hope you enjoy reading and visualizing the lives of various characters and what they may have been thinking throughout this story!
