The Clone Wars just begun a few years ago. Anakin Skywalker recently conquered victory over Ventress, and Obi-Wan claimed victory on Muunilinst. They are sent on a mission together to face something no Jedi have seen before. And that big Something is not all they find; they bump into a mysterious Someone as well.

Nearly five years ago, the Clone Wars ended with a purge that wiped an entire people from the galaxy. Jess, formerly known as CC-9976, a member of the 21st Nova Corps, shot down his Jedi general in accordance with Order 66. Now, Jess finds himself a stormtrooper for the Galactic Empire.
