With K now living in the mansion with Logan, and with Kate comfortably established as a teacher, it seems our little group of heroes is falling into something like 'normal.' Of course, we all know that isn't going to last, and when ghosts from Logan's, K's, Kate's, Kurt's, and Scott's pasts ALL start to rear their ugly heads, well... sadly, that's business as usual for the X-Men!

Growing up Faith didn't really have a good childhood, her parents worked a lot so they weren't really around to take care of her so Faith lived with her grandparents who loved her to death... But when she was just 14, they had passed away and it left Faith depressed because she never got to say goodbye so she re-reads all their letters and just cries... Now being 17, life hasn't gotten any better. She still has no friends, is still getting bullied in which no one can do anything about and her powers have yet to improve...but what happens when she meets a certain speedster who turns her life around? What happens next?

A fabulous continuation of the newly minted 714 Universe where we give our favorite characters the opportunity to be happy then sit back and see what they do with it! Volume 1 ("A Wolverine, An Elf, and a Hawkeye") is over on CanuckleheadCowgirl's profile. In this volume, Kate Bishop has moved into the school with her boyfriend, Kurt Wagner. And while this means awesome things like sleepovers with Storm and parties with her new friend Jubilee, it also means all sorts of issues that she's never dealt with. Anti-mutant rhetoric, Sentinels, angry mobs, and even demonic issues ... the Avengers never had to deal with anything like this. So it's probably a good thing the Wolverine is around to help train her up! This is a continuing work with @CanuckleheadCowgirl. For Volume 1 (and all odd-numbered volumes), go to her profile. Kerri was just a normal teenager with maybe a little worse than normal home life, and an ok but dull school life. That is, until she one day develops an interesting problem. She gains mutant powers, and her appearance starts changing randomly with her emotions. Now she has to try and keep those under a tighter lock than before, because mutant hysteria has hit her town, and she went from an unknown quiet bookworm to the topic on everybody's tongue. Then it really hits the fan at home and she has to leave before it gets worse. Luckily, Professor Charles Xavier finds her and saves her from the streets before something unthinkable can happen to her. Unfortunately it took him a year to find her and she's withdrawn from the world, and isn't used to socializing with humans anymore. And then there's Kurt, code name Nightcrawler. He's a mutant too, and has been treated differently his whole life because of the way he looks. The best day of his life was coming to the institute and getting the hologram that hides the way he really looks so he can finally look like everyone else. But when the newest student comes to the school, he finds himself judging her by looks too. Until she pushes him into showing her his true appearance and marks his life as the first person to ever tell him that he looks better without the hologram. Then, as promised, she shows him what she really looks like and he falls for her. Too bad there's only two trimesters left of his senior year before he graduates. Will Kurt be able to pull Kerri out of her shell before he graduates and has to find what to do next with his life? And what about the pressures of high school and the anti mutant society that are always there at the edge of their life?

Fresh off of seeing his best friend, Logan, get married, Kurt is looking forward to his own wedding to Kate in Germany. And, of course, he's looking forward to meeting the baby that Logan and K have on the way. But as anyone who knows the X-Men could tell you, once the "happy endings" start coming up, there's no way the bad guys aren't going to try to mess that up. They still have to deal with the fact that Sinister is taking an active interest in the newly forming families, since the creep is still interested in chronicling a full mutant lifespan. And then there's a few others that want to stick their noses in. Still, even the villains have breaking points. And you just might be surprised at who cracks first.
