You hugged her as your mother came into view.

"What's this weird looking creature?- I've never seen such a strange plushie before!" She exclaimed with a questioning glance.

"Like as I said, it's one of my favorite anime characters from a series!"

"Well then, can you keep it to yourself please? I think it's staring at me."

You and your friend both giggled at your mother's reaction as you returned to your room.
