After falling down a flight of stairs and receiving a near-fatal head injury, Dan wakes up in hospital having completely lost his vision.

Assisted as best as he can by his best friend Arin, Dan struggles to adapt to the situation and accept the harsh truth that he might never be able to see again.

Mild strong language. Possible mention of sexual acts but no actual scenes containing the acts (if that makes sense).
Not set in any specific grumps era - just kinda a mishmash :)

A New Safe Space

25 parts Ongoing Mature

Two years after Akk and Aye's breakup, things have started to settle. Aye is happy with his new boyfriend, Yok, and while their friendship is slowly mending, Akk can't quite let go. It breaks his heart to see the love of his life moving on, but if anyone deserves it, his shortstop does. One evening out with friends, Akk watches Aye and Yok dancing intimately, his lingering pain clear in his eyes. That's when a pretty boy saunters up and whispers, "I know the feeling. Wanna get out of here?" Before he knows it, Akk replies, "Yeah, why not?" as a grinning Ray drags him away victoriously, saying simply, "Good choice." [This is the second installment of my story, THE ART OF ATTRACTION. You don't need to have read the first story, but it adds an extra layer to this journey of love, loss, and new beginnings if you do so.]
