A distant planet colonized by two species - humans and the dog-centaur-esque felnim - is at war as the two races fight to claim which side has the right to call it home. But when a human captain and a felnim soldier are forced together in the uninhabitable Death Stretch jungle, they will have to work together - and with a peculiar team of Earth scientists researching the planet unbeknownst to the colonists - to survive. And they may discover secrets about the planet that that none of them ever imagined.
This story is an anthology because each "chapter" is a short story meant to stand more or less on its own, while contributing to the overall plot. Feedback is welcome and appreciated!

Australia was once a country with Carnivores and Herbivores coexisting with the Omnivores. Humans, considered class Omnivores, came out with a strange pathogen. During the first week, humans were infected with a virus showing cannibalistic behaviour only to their own species. Biting. Eating the flesh of ones own species. Violent behaviour. Things seemed pretty straightforward when he decides to explore the rest of the island, until he comes into close contact with two surviving Silth female soldiers, and they all learn about something more voracious living inside the jungle.
