A distant planet colonized by two species - humans and the dog-centaur-esque felnim - is at war as the two races fight to claim which side has the right to call it home. But when a human captain and a felnim soldier are forced together in the uninhabitable Death Stretch jungle, they will have to work together - and with a peculiar team of Earth scientists researching the planet unbeknownst to the colonists - to survive. And they may discover secrets about the planet that that none of them ever imagined.

This story is an anthology because each "chapter" is a short story meant to stand more or less on its own, while contributing to the overall plot. Feedback is welcome and appreciated!All Rights Reserved
