Virgil had just gotten out of a bad relationship guy cheated on him, and verbally abused him and when Roman shows up and wants to be friends Virgil keeps him a arms lenght till he finds out that Roman is caring and Virgil realizes that Roman is awakening a lost feeling called love that Virgil thought he would never feel again.
Roman is working on a major in performing theater arts while Virgil is working at a coffee shop.
