Many people wish for their own story. They wish for their own happy ending. In doing so, they create a colossal wave of events that somehow makes them the main character. 

Now, being the main character is the best thing ever. No one wants a supporting or background role. They want the lead. For some reason, any role other than the main is utter trash.

And I find that quite offensive. 

Yes, I am a background character. Does it suck? At times. Am I okay with it? Of course. Even though I don't have my own heart-wrenching story, or whatever, I enjoy my life.

In this piece of literature, that I have composed in my laboratory (the blessed library), I shall tell the tales of my life. I shall rivet thee with the things I have witnessed.

Because there can definitely be happiness in the background.All Rights Reserved

From the second you're in this world they tell you what is fair. What questions your allowed to ask and the ones you can never dare say. I find it damn near funny that most of you are reading this and know exactly what I mean. They put you on the path they've paved for you as kids we don't question it or even wonder if it's right for you. But beyond your paths edges is a land made up of risks and dangers. You feared it they tell you no good will come from it but how do you really know? Truth be told I was the girl who had her whole life planned out for her, straight A's, best friend, and two loving parents. I know what I wanted what I needed and I knew how to fight like hell for it. There's a reason why everyone prefers pretty lies over the bitter truth and it's usually because they can't handle the truth but I think the most likely thing is they can't handle what happens to the person once the truth comes out that's what happened to me. Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...
