The people of Timefields, Alaska used to be generous and down to earth; at least that's what we all were told.
According to our parents and stories told by others, the virtue gene is what changed it all.
Back in 1998 the virtue gene spread all across the world.
Normal human beings began to evolve from regular people into something spectacular.
And the ones that didn't evolve..well I guess you could say that they were afraid.
Afraid of something that wasn't the norm to them.
That same year those same people came up with a plan and wiped out the existence of the virtue gene.
