Dear Reader,

No, this isn't a story that consists of many journal entries, we know how boring that would be. This is just my life from my POV.

Welcome to my life. My "perfect" life. Who am I kidding, my life is far from it.

I'm basically in a forced relationship with Archie, and I want to rebel, but the only person I can turn to to help is my ex... Jughead. Riverdale's resident bad boy.

Archie gets extremely jealous when he sees us hanging out all the time, and when Jughead's feelings come back, all hell breaks loose.

Betty is new in town and is immediately fascinated by the mysterious Southsider, Jughead. Little does she know he's just as fascinated with her. Soon, they both ask themselves the question: how did they ever live without each other? This is my first fanfic, so sorry if it sucks; I'm not that good at writing yet. WARNING: WILL CONTAIN DESCRIPTIONS OF SELF HARM, ABUSE, AND SUICIDAL THOUGHTS I do not own the characters. These characters are the CW's, but the plot is mine. Again, idk if I'll ever finish this story. I honestly have no clue where I was going with this, and based on how Riverdale is going rn and just completely ruining the best thing in the show, idk if I ever will complete it. Idk. Maybe? I'm focusing more on my other fic, 'The Last Summer' rn, but if who knows? Go check out the last summer, and idk maybe if Riverdale gets better or some good bughead stuff happens, I'll find enough motivation to write this. Sorry, and if anybody's even reading this, thanks for understanding!

Jughead and Betty have always hated each other. It was a well known fact, just like the fact that Betty is hopelessly in love with Archie Andrews. The boy next door. One day, Jughead is on his way to Archie's house, and encounters something he never in a lifetime, thought he would see. Betty and Archie. Together. In Archie's room. The jealousy hits him. After that day, he starts to see Betty Cooper in a new way. He has seen her smile, and wavy dirty blonde hair almost everyday since he was 5 years old, but he has never noticed how perfect her lips were, or how the waves of her hair shape her face perfectly. If only he had realized sooner, how he truly felt. If only he hadn't been too late. Or was he? DISLAIMER: I own none of these characters all credit goes to Archie Comics and the CW.

"What is going on with you?" she practically yelled. I looked at her and shrugged. "Seriously, Juggie. You're so damn confusing. One minute you act like you hate me the next you are defending me and acting like you love me. You make no sense" she ranted. She glared at me and I chuckled. "I love it when you call me Juggie. It's hot" I said and she continued to glare at me in silence. "I didn't know what I wanted before. I do now" I said casually. "Really? And what is that?" She fumed. "You, baby." I smirked. Betty moved away years ago when her parents divorced. Her mother wanted a fresh start in New York. Everyone promised to keep in touch but, of course, they didn't. Only her cousin. Cheryl stuck by Betty. Betty survived though. She made new friends and her mother remarried making Veronica her sister and best friend. Jughead was broken when Betty left. Losing her changed him. As the years wore on, he became darker and cruel. He joined his Dad in the Serpents and truly loved the gang lifestyle. Archie felt hollow since Betty left. He distracted himself with football and girls and had earned himself quite a reputation. Betty and Veronica became best friends while they're mothers dated. They both embraced the New York party lifestyle. Betty changed from a sweet, quiet girl to a bit of a wild child but kept her heart of gold. That is, until Betty and Veronica move to Riverdale with their mothers. Jughead and Archie are shocked to see Betty again. One of them view her as a challenge, the other as prey. Betty has other ideas though. Language warning and maybe some violence and dark material.

After break-up, Jughead and Betty managed to be friends for entire year, having calls and texts, sharing things about their lifes in university. Jughead tried really hard to keep it that way until he couldn't. One drunken call and their lifes changed in many ways. They started the hating competition - how rude and mean you can be to each others, how can you hurt other one even more? They don't see each other often, only few times in past several years, but they keep leaving messages here and there, hurtful ones. They hear things from their friends and family, but no, they don't wanna see each other. Jughead knows Betty likes to go out with Veronica and she works hard, she has a cat. Betty knows Jughead has a girlfriend, again, and he writes still. Now they have to meet after years, and they have one new thing in common besides the hate and their history, a job at the same office. ⚠️ mature language and scenes Also kind of a warning - slow burn.

No one knows her secrets, no one knows all the pain that suffers. She always hide her pain, fear and sadness under a smile that way no one knows what is really going with her. Betty is been pretending she's the happy and perfect girl with the perfect family since she was 15. Betty goes to the drive in with Archie and Veronica and ends up getting more than she bargains for when she meets a bad boy from the southside of town. At first he just seems like your classic cliche bad boy with his leather jacket and combat boots and she gives him some attitude for his over confident attitude until she sees the back of his jacket with the signature snake on it that hes a southside serpent but not just any southside serpent the leader of the southside serpents, Jughead Jones. Betty didn't expect Jughead Jones to take such an interest in a girl as mundane as her and as much as she tries to avoid him he seems to be everywhere she is. When a life changing event happens she finds herself thrown right into the middle of his world she finds him much harder to avoid and to deny her attraction to the original bad boy of Riverdale. Jughead Jones is instantly attracted to the little preppy blonde girl as soon as he meets her with her attitude and fearlessness, he couldn't help but to be intrigued. When she ends up in his world after her own life changing event it becomes obvious the attraction is undeniable and resisting just is impossible. *re-editing because i entered this into the wattys 2018 so just re polishing nothing big will change so feel free to read it. *
