They say, in love, it doesn't matter where status do you belong or the age gap between you and your partner. It doesn't matter how many miles your distance are from her. It's not about what has been her past or what is happening on her present but the fact that you will be with her for the rest of your entire life. You will be saying those "I love you more" till your lips can't create any word. You will stare at her beautiful eyes until yours will no longer give a peek on her. You will listen to her laugh until you will hear nothing but the silence. And, you will love her until your last breathe. But, what if you are not breathing when you felt your heart beating? What if you fell in love at the wrong time? What if you can hold her hands when she needs someone to hold hers? What if you can't kiss her lips to stop her from nagging? What if you can't hug her tight when she can't bear the weight of the world? What if you can't shed the tears from her eyes when she's about to explode? What if, all you can do is to love her? Will you still do?

I wear the smile they want to see, The one that hides what's hurting me. A life of rules, of things unspoken, A heart so bruised, yet never broken. I walk the path they've made for me, A map I never chose to see. Every step feels far from mine, Chasing dreams that aren't divine. I look at you, and then I feel, A truth so real, it starts to heal. But words are trapped behind my lips, A love that's swallowed in silent grips. They speak of duty, of what's expected, But they can't see how I've been affected. I'm not the girl they want to find, I'm just a shadow of a heart confined. And yet, when you are near, I know, A warmth within begins to grow. But how can I let this feeling show, When all they want is what I owe? So here I stand, between two worlds, One of promises, one that twirls With whispers of a love untold- A secret that I cannot hold.
