Traveling around the Earth is a band of Magicians performing magical endeavors for all to see.  Tricks, dangerous stunts, logic-defying acts that brilliant minds even question the possibility of.  Masked magician Wizard, not known for a clever title, formulates his group of assistants from both sides of humanity and inhumanity to supposedly deliver the message that they can co exist. Magic is not real, right?  Wizard is known for peace, being a beacon of hope.  All of that is shattered when the relic explodes, wiping out hundreds of innocents in the process.  Wizard harbored a deadly secret.  He hates humanity, as well as inhumanity.  He and his entire band of assistants do.  Together they launched the first major terrorist group, attacking from that day forward as the Magicians of Evil.  
Enter the Alpha Corps.  A global organization bent on protecting peace and brokering safety for all life, this force of brave and noble people stand on the front lines between humanity and inhumanity.  Twenty-six squadrons divided among Alpha Corps. bestow this promise of security and fairness for all.  Like a new police force, Alpha Corps. evades usually hostile situations but trains its people well in the realm of combat should it ever com to that. The universe run by Mothu is crazy. Powers run rampant in this world, and people can live over 10x longer than in ours. In this world, humans, over the course of millions of years, had made a reliable form of fast space travel. They had spread out and explored the universe, inhabiting and colonizing various planets. They found orbs, orbs that held immense powers. One of those orbs, the one of time was taken back to earth, as it was the first-place humans lived, so it got first dibs. Unfortunately, they tried to use the time orb to bring back people from the dead too many times. The orb malfunctioned and send the earth and its inhabits back millions of years to year zero. No one really cared and left earth stuck back in its past. The other orbs were taken and spread out between key planets, all of which were among the first planets to be colonized. They were renamed after the orb they received. Of course, peace was never going to last. People began fighting over the orbs that granted such wonderful powers. The fighting lasted for centuries. Around 500at (at=after time warp of earth,) Four people with enormous powers rose to the top and took all the orbs for themselves. They were eventually sealed away by a resistance group and the galaxy made a treaty to try to prevent such an event from ever happening again. Peace took hold once again and people freely traveled between planets. Security became more and more lax, people became more trusting again. All of this left the door wide open for one man to go on a mission to reclaim the orbs, in hopes of bringing back those four men...
