Melanie Gemberling, sophomore at Johnson High School. She's pretty, has long brown hair, blue eyes, and she is the perfect height for her age. And no, before you say it, she is not one of those preppy cheerleaders who wants everything in sight. Melanie is pretty laid back, super nice to everyone, and bubbly. She has multiple boys after her. But she has her eye only on one. Peter Ganley. Peter is tall, had perfect brown hair, hazel eyes... Wait what was I talking about? Oh right, Melanie. But boys aren't the only thing on her mind. Her dream is to be a professional singer/dancer. Her best friend Jessica has the same dream, but she's already on her way with that. Jessica tried out for the JHS show choir, where you have to sing and dance and act happy all the time. Of course she made it in, but Melanie is to shy to try out. See how far she gets in her dream when she has her "eye on it."

Samantha Laila Holmes was by no means a cheerleader. She was an athlete. She'd played all sorts of sports as a kid, but now her heart is set on volleyball. It's her junior year and she's been on the varsity volleyball team since she was a freshman. With volleyball who has any time for boyfriends? That was until... Lucas Braden Clark, the foot ball player. No, he was not stuck up and neither were his close friends. The only problem was that his friends only date cheerleaders. Cheerleaders at his school were boy crazy and self centered, he wouldn't last a minute with one. Seeing as he doesn't date cheerleaders and his friend would kill him if he didn't date one, he just doesn't date anyone. No one. Except... She's not a cheerleader.
