There's a little town in Maine called Monroe and everyone knows everyone when it comes to gossip. There seems to be a catch to living in the little town on the coast: money. Just about everyone who owns a residence in Monroe has bags of money stashed in one closet and boxes of skeletons in the other. When two hearts meet in the middle, can they make a relations work? Or will they have to et each other go in order to save their families from knowing each other? Allison Montgomery is a straight A, cheerleader with a rough break up on her mind and all she wants is to escape the world of truth and fall into all things Lincoln. Lincoln Andrews has been unable to admit how much he wants Allison since the day he met her in their PE class freshman year. At the time she was already dating Drew Morgan, a Junior on the football team. He ignored her until their sophomore year when he decided they could be friends. Of course that didn't work out very well, they had things in common and he started to want her again. Now, it's Junior year and Drew is a freshman in college. They're still dating, but something is off about Allison their first month back. Now, all of a sudden, she's throwing her arms around him and coaxing him Into backing out of a fight. For the first time, Allison Montgomery is opening up to Lincoln, but is it temporary? Or should he risk everything and let her in completely? What happens when fate brings her face-to-face with the boy she thought she'd never see again? Nicky quickly realizes airing her emotions out in public via a number-one, hit song can make things complicated fast. As Nate and Nicky reconnect and navigate through their past, truths are revealed, assumptions are at an all-time high, and a publicity nightmare looms which jeopardizes all she's worked so hard for. While Nicky's misfortunes add up, she realizes fame comes with a price.
