Back on homeworld, two new types of gems are born, a bubbly Citrine and a serious, programmed Onyx. Both are the only one of their kind and are unfortunate for instead of being feminine they look, sound, and classify as males. Will they stay the diamonds' puppets, or will they find out what it's like to have someone they can call a brother?

Steven Universe and all its characters belong to Rebecca Sugar and its respective owners - I claim no ownership over any of it. This is a reader-insert story set during the events of Steven Universe: The Movie. The core plot follows the film, but I've added a reader-insert character and original scenes throughout to weave her into the story as it happens. Please don't repost or copy this work elsewhere. A gems who's ment to keep everyone In line and help white diamond in her search of perfection. Yet some how, Pink Diamond creates the first hybrid who would save gem kind. While Black Diamond creates a mistake. A mistake filled with angry or even worse RAGE. Can this said mistake be changed by the hybrid in the end?
