Onyx and Citrine (Steven Universe au)

Back on homeworld, two new types of gems are born, a bubbly Citrine and a serious, programmed Onyx. Both are the only one of their kind and are unfortunate for instead of being feminine they look, sound, and classify as males. Will they stay the diamonds' puppets, or will they find out what it's like to have someone they can call a brother?
