In a war between psychics and elementals, Carson continuously is running, evading battle at all costs. However, with the discovery that her parents are imprisoned, she must break every rule to locate them. Obstacles, such as being the Tracer's most wanted criminal, fall into place and alter her path into entering the war she promised to keep her close ones far away from. Through new friendships and love, Carson realizes the sides aren't as black and white as they seem and ultimately finds herself fighting against each one.

Agent Slade and his team are some of the best psychics the Tracers have ever seen. Thus, they are asked to hunt down the Tracer's number one fugitive, Fulmen, an unknown entity except for the fact that he or she is a Class Z Electrokinetic. Along his journey, Slade finds Fulmen before he realizes who she actually is. Unfortunately for him, she is nothing like he ever thought would be and his world is forever turned upside down.
