Sonnet and Terren are the last of the Arian... The winged masters of the land of Thoi. Because of their rare births due to some unknown cause, their line has been dwindling.

Son goes for a day flight like always only to be faced with an attack from both the sky and the ground. He is forced to land with an injured wing then faces a fight for his life as he struggles on land where he is most ineffective. Just when he sees the end of his life, he is saved by a young man called Pin. He is the last of his line just like Son but he could also be the savior of the Avian man and all he holds dear.
