On September 11, 2001, Stella's dad died due to the terrorist attacks on the twin towers. Twelve years later, Stella is a freshman in high school and still fighting her battle without her beloved dad. But Stella wasn't the only one effected by this tragedy. Her mentally ill mother turned to alcohol and cruelty as a source of relief, her new boyfriend, Tyler, is a foster child due to both of his parents' deaths. Even the people who Stella least expected were effected by the tragedy... But now, Stella has way more issues to deal with than the loss of her father. Some life-threatening, some life-changing. How can she do it all, without her dad?
