He just stood there. Looking at me. The way I had reacted had put him in a state of shock. "I... I um," Every word I had learned from pre-school to now had just flew out of my mind and left me speechless. "I should go." But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.Complete

They were trouble. You could just tell by looking at them. They didn't talk to anybody, besides others in the group and people in our school spread stories about them all the time. They were intriguing and we all wanted to be apart of them. But of course, they weren't exactly open to letting others in. Overtime peoples wanting to be apart of them lessened or went away all together. But mine never did and I knew exactly why. It was her. The way she held herself and the mystery of what not only they held but what she held to. I figured it would just be an infatuation from afar. But oh how I was wrong.Complete

"There were times of hardship when people forget the courage they need to keep fighting; and survive. But I think as long as we have something or someone to believe in, to keep close in our hearts, courage will never truly leave us. We only have to reach deep in our heart to find it." I never thought I was going to escape my abusive parents. I could no longer see that one light at the end of my tunnel. I was trapped, no way to escape. You would never believe that one trip to the New York Hospital could change my life drastically, and not in the way you guys are thinking. Not negatively, but positively. Thanks to my Doctor and his son, I could finally say goodbye to my dark past and say hello to my bright future involving a massive emotion... LOVE. So, Maybe... There is a Happy Ending.Complete
