Skye Ossen has never had any friends. When she finally made one, the doctors told her that she was schizophrenic, that Echo isn't real. Skye takes the medicine that should take away her schizophreniia, but Echo would go too. But Echo doesn't go away. More people come. Skye can tell who is real or not, but they keep making their mysterious appearances. But she needs to keep her secret from her relentless mother
