Their time together was way too short. Suddenly she was there in his life, making him wonder how he had ever survived without her, and then just as suddenly she wasn't anymore. But he never doubted any of it. She had been real. Very real. And so was his promise to her.
He was determined to show the world just how wrong it had been in treating them the way it had. How cruel it was to simply take her away from him like that. He would show them all. Art was an explosion after all, so he'd make sure to go out with a blast.
And what a blast it would be.
