"God. I almost forgot how beautiful you look naked. My woman". He looked lustfully at his wife who was now standing in front of him in his long sleeved navy blue button down shirt, with only two buttons in the middle closed. "Kwame don't be dramatic. I'm not naked". "Well, I can see all I want to see. You're beautiful Ekua, I don't think I tell you this often. You are the most beautiful woman I've ever been with" Kakra said, still staring at his wife. "Really? You think so?" She asked honestly. "Well it could be because you're wearing my shirt. If you could take it off for me, then I'd judge better".

Her eyes scanned his entire form. Folded sleeves (checked) Veiny hands (checked) Toned chest (checked) And... she abruptly halted, suddenly aware of her boldness. She slowly lifted her head, silently praying to every deity for deliverance from her thoughts. But he already had a smirk plastered on his face, for which she was unprepared. She internally groaned and cursed in her mildest of languages, yet she managed to maintain a poker face. Raising her brows at him, she asked, "What!?" when she could no longer endure the intensity of his gaze. His eyebrows rose in amusement and slight surprise at her audacious attitude, even when she should have at least looked away, blushed, or felt a modicum of embarrassment. "If Her Highness is finished scrutinizing me, may I be graced with a few of her words?" he inquired, more like demanded, while biting his inner cheeks to stifle the smile creeping onto his face. "Sure, why not?" Aadhya responded with a shrug. "Have some shame and button up your shirt, fully. Also, I don't understand it. If you're so keen on displaying your chest, why bother wearing a shirt at all? Just take it off. Simple." She mocked. Yuvan looked at her in disbelief. She shrugged nonchalantly, adopting an I-don't-care demeanor, and walked past him. She mentally patted herself on the back for coming up the response in time, saving herself from embarrassment. "You insolent girl," he yelled after her, though a faint smile colored his voice. Aadhya suppressed her smile and turned around, still walking backward. Remembering his words, she began, "Only exclusive for you...Mon Chevalier." She added after a dramatic pause. (My knight) She continued walking, her long, thick hair bouncing with every step and her laughter echoing through the hallways. Yuvan was left speechless by her words. He remained silent, unsure of how to respond. *First few/10 chapters might be boring but it will be worth it.* GIVE IT A CHANCE AND YOU WON'T REGRET IT

Her heart was beating so fast and her stomach ached so bad. She knew this was it, this was her fate being sealed. " Zhulfah Bint Ilyas? " It would be weird to ask the Imam a question like " Hey look. There was a really nice old friend of my dad's pestering me to be his third wife and I didn't want to go to Ogbomosho and his proposal came along and everything kinda rushed from there, so does that mean I was in my sane mind when I said...yes?" Surely some level of insanity meant she wasn't sure, right? Must the question be a yes or no answer? Can't it just be a maybe? Something along the lines of ' maybe I'll marry him 'cuz my heart is kinda telling me to but my brain's answer isn't forthcoming?' Wait...does that even make any sense? " Zhulfah Bint Ilyas? " She hadn't had breakfast but she felt like she downed a whole packet of laxatives with the way her stomach danced weirdly. " Zhulfah... " " Yes! Yes! Yes! I do! I do!" She said a bit too loudly into the mic, and was instantly filled with regret. She heard her best friend chuckle lightly behind her and she wanted nothing more than to give her a good beating. She glanced over at her husband to be in a few minutes, and her face heated up when she caught him smiling amusingly. " I mean", She cleared her throat. " I do...accept him as...as..my husband." " Well, I think I'll have to speed up the event and legalize these two", The Imam joked and the whole congregation burst into laughter. Zhulfah's face warmed up several degrees, and she was so sure her face would be burnt before the end of that day with the way she was blushing to a severe degree. The Imam was still laughing, and she knew it won't look like a joke much longer if she had a scissors to his beard.

"I can't do this ! This is wrong !" she exclaimed loudly, trying to prove her point. "Miracle, I really don't have time for this. I am sure whatever was decided was decided for good. Now quit whinning like a baby and get to work. I don't want our professional lives to be clashing with our personal lives. The rest of the discussion on this topic can be completed at home." He said in an overly calm tone that sent chills down her spine. "Kayden ! How can you even agree to this marriage ? You don't even love me and you have a girlfriend already, for heaven's sake !" Miracle continued ignoring Kayden's demand. This wasn't right ! And she was going to prove it. She was going to make Kayden understand that there is no reason to put their lives on hold just because their parents thought they were perfect for each other. And once again, this discussion is over. Don't ignore my words, baby. I don't like to be ignored." His cool minty breath fanning her face and the fact that he had to literally squat down to whisper to her made her stomach do a weird flip.
