Der Legende nach gibt es einen Mann, der dem Tod in die Augen gesehen hat.
Er spürte seinen fauligen Atem auf dem Gesicht und seine knochigen, kalten Finger um seinen Hals und er beschloss, dem Tod die Stirn zu bieten. So fasste er sich ein Herz und schrie dem Tod an, dass er leben wolle, dass er die Sonne auf der Haut und den Wind in den Haaren spüren wolle und dass er es nicht ertrage seine Familie und Freunde zurück zu lassen.
Der Tod war so beeindruckt, von dem Lebenswillen und dem Mut des Mannes, dass er beschloss ihn ziehen zu lassen. Und so kam es, dass der Mann auf die Erde zurück kehrte.
Und er wurde bekannt, als der Bezwinger des Todes.

It was a Sunday night, family night for the Greens. They were playing a board game when it happened. At exactly 11:11 pm; a time for wishes, a sixteen year old girl wished for true love one day. Imagine, just for a second, let's imagine you end up somehow travelling into your favourite book. Then you started working your magic and you cosy up to the male lead who was supposed to get you killed or you make the demon lord fall in love with you so he can protect you from your imminent death. And woah you got your happy ending. But now let's imagine a completely different scenario where you end up in a book you read like 10 pages of (including the ending). And you find yourself literally dropped into the lap of a psychopathic rival who enjoys just a teeny bit of bloodshed. He's also the guy who killed your favourite character and not to mention you. But then you hold on for a second because you realise you're not dead and he wants to use you as an immortal tool to sharpen his aim. Well that's the story I ended up living in.
