A fatal disease has been hidden in icecaps for millions of years.
But in a distant future due to the effects of global warming the disease was released and caused billions upon billions of deaths.
To make sure humanity doesn't go extinct the governments have set up highly guarded quarantines all over the world. These sections hold up hundreds of humans that are still un-effected by the disease.

But years later a mutation was born. Carriers of the mutated gene are immune to the disease. And scientists are hellbent on finding a cure, but finding the cure will inevitably cost the lives of the mutated people. Will the mutants find a way out?
