Maylee Bourbon has lived a simple, intricate life for the last 18 years. She lives in Zuni, New Mexico with her beloved family and she is surrounded with her best friends.
She only has 2 weeks until she starts a new life at the University of Arizona, in Tucson Arizona, 4 hours away from home.
With little to no financial support from her struggling parents, she needs a job when she moves to college, and quickly.
She searches and searches, and finally lands a job at a fine arts studio about 20 minutes from campus. The studio consists of artists, dancers, musicians, vocalists, every fine art you can imagine.
Maylee decides that if she works here, she might as well enroll in a course, with her discount and all. She goes big and enrolls in theatre.
Maylee has never done theatre in her life before this and struggles to keep up, and along the way faces challenges with a boy named Harry who never lets her have a break.
But, fine arts, more specifically theatre, is focused on acting and deception.
