A primavera chegava ao fim, mas a cor e o perfume das flores ainda encantavam as tardes quentes de novembro de mil novecentos e noventa e sete.
Eduarda Campibell, policial e famosa dançarina, morava com a família em uma pequena cidade chamada Pirapozinho, porém ela não imaginava que um simples convite pudesse mudar completamente sua vida. O convite chegava como um simples telefonema dirigido a seu pai.
Naquele verão Eduarda e a família foram para Havana na colônia de férias de Jonas, seu tio.
Eduarda queria descansar, esquecer os problemas que a afligiam, mas ao conhecer Ademir Queiroz, ela sente uma enorme atração, porém tenta de todas as maneiras se convencer de que seu sentimento é absolutamente natural, afinal aquele misterioso homem era muito sedutor.
Contudo ao atender a um pedido do tio para que fique mais tempo na colônia e encerre a temporada, coloca-se frente a frente com Ademir.
