My dad takes a picture with his camera and sighs. "Get into the car or wait until next term to get to school."

"Is that a choice?"

"No, now get into the car Emma."

"Fine!" I stomp off to the car.

What a great day to be shipped off to boarding school just because I ran away last year, because I beat up some dude (for he shall not be named) for insulting my family and tried to drive a police car. Yip, u know it. I'm a delinquent.

---

All Emma wanted was to fit in at her old school. But, she got into trouble trying to do what the normal people did, like going to parties. But soon she realized that being different is what she really was supposed to be. She beat up a boy in her class till his face was covered in blood, since she had anger problems and he pushed her way over the line. She got into a fight with her parents afterwards and ran away. Then, as she got caught by the police, she pushed the cop out of his seat and reversed his police car into a lamp post. She's got excellent grades and a quick mind, so her parents didn't know how to discipline her. Now she's being sent to a boarding school deep in the Natal Midlands, far away from her little domain of Durban North. The teachers are quite firm, the detention is for five hours, the meals are awful and it's the best boys and girls high-school in KZN.

But, she might just change it to the best school in South Africa.
