The only future Matty sees is one in which he is making music. He has given up everything to try to make his band successful, yet his hard work seems to be getting him nowhere.

That is until he meets the mysterious and unattainable Rachel, who can help the band reach success with her musical knowledge and contacts, but Matty struggles to keep the relationship strictly business, and soon becomes part of a battle to win her heart and attention.
