As a young girl, Ellvorie is taken from her palace home, her parents, and twin brother by the Neverseen, thinking she is the creation of the black swan. When they realize they are wrong, she is put through careful DNA mutation and is given a new ability. With the new ability she destroys the Neverseen's hideout and goes back to her royal home. When she gets there, she shows her parents what she can do and they throw her and her brother out. The two live on in a shack in the forest of Lumenaria.
